Central Asia climate information products 2020
Zoï, together with the Central Asia Regional Environmental Centre and in collaboration with national partners, has produced a number of new climate information products.
Women, food and climate change in Central Asia: Readers will discover food traditions and famous dishes of Central Asia, and will learn about the climate footprint associated with food production and cooking and find out how to reduce it.
Climate change in Central Asia. Illustrated summary: Covering global, regional and national climate change issues, this summary provides insight into GHG emissions, the vulnerabilities in Central Asia and the transition to clean energy, and highlights regional solutions.
Climate change in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Illustrated summaries: Presented in the infographic format in four languages, these booklets explain national features, climate trends and impacts, emissions, and adaptation and mitigation efforts.
Illustrated Russian–Tajik glossary on hydrometeorology and climate change: Prepared in close collaboration with the Tajik Agency on Hydrometeorology and the Committee on Environmental Protection, this illustrated glossary targets a diverse group of local readers in Tajikistan – from students and farmers to experts.
